Planning Plastic Surgery Costs in Korea
Compare itemized treatment proposals, not headline prices. READY has not been supplied with verified clinic price lists, so it does not publish estimated packages as clinic quotations.
Ask what the quote actually includes
Request a written quote for your assessed case. Separate the clinician’s fee, facility costs, anesthesia, examinations, medicines and follow-up. Ask whether the amount includes taxes and which currency applies. If two proposals differ, compare the planned procedure and care arrangements before interpreting the price difference.
Separate treatment from travel
Keep accommodation, transport, translation arrangements and changes to flights in a separate travel budget. Ask the treating team how the proposed review schedule affects your stay. Do not treat a standard travel itinerary as medical clearance to fly. Leave room in the budget for an extended stay if your clinician recommends it.
Clarify deposits and changes
Before payment, obtain the deposit terms, cancellation policy and the process if the proposed procedure changes following an in-person examination. Ask how additional examinations or treatment needs are priced and approved. Keep the proposal and the clinic’s written terms together so there is a clear reference for what was agreed.
Ask about follow-up and revision policies
A revision policy is not a guarantee of a particular result. Ask what the policy covers, what remains chargeable, who decides whether additional treatment is appropriate and how international travel costs are handled. Confirm how long routine follow-up is available and what happens when you have returned home.
Use the correct clinic channel
Where supplied, READY’s clinic contact button leads only to the clinic’s international website. JNB and Good-Line have those links. Answer’s profile remains informational until an international website is supplied; READY does not replace it with a Korean-site, phone or email CTA.
Editorial preparation guidance, not individual medical advice. Clinic-specific information comes from the linked READY clinic and physician profiles and their cited clinic sources. No independent medical review is claimed.
